I remember in 1967, my mother hired an interior decorator who put a Florentine box very much like this one in our living room. It's fun to see that style come back around. This box is 6" x 4" x 2". It is antiqued gold with green and coral accents, with a red, flocked, plastic liner. There are two places where the gold has flaked off reveling the almost bronze color of the box underneath. There is also a mark on the front of the lid which is probably a marker mark. The bottom reads, "Trademark - Made In Italy" and there are the remains of of a price sticker.
